I used to be told what has been done on my vehicle and what May need to be Den on the future to keep the vehicle in good running Condition.. Now all you get is sign here and here and out the door you go.
JD (service writer) did a great job scheduling my repairs and timely service requirements. He told me direct what my time would be and on a second trip (for a recall ) he got my vehicle in and out in the time he quoted. All businesses should have the quality type personnel you have at your dealership. Thanks
I made an appointment in mid December to get the A/C fixed Jan 6th on my daughter's truck. I walk in at 7:50 am Monday and I'm not even in the weekly repair schedule. Why make an appointment? I call Wednesday afternoon and the truck had just been pulled into a stall that morning. He says the freon is low and needs replacing. I think great, it will be done by Friday. I call again Friday and two techs and the service manager have replaced the A/C compressor, it is still not fixed and they are still not sure what the fix is. I finally picked it up Saturday afternoon after 2/3 actuators were replaced. Your time management naturally aspirates and as for troubleshooting skills I am not impressed. One other issue that isn't dealership related is this 2011 truck has had a Takata air bag recall for several years. GM sent a recall letter out and has not taken any action to fix the airbag. I had a 2006 Honda Pilot with the same Takata airbag. I got a Honda recall letter saying to call & set up a time to get it replaced. Done at no charge! I have asked several times about getting it replaced and I get the response that the air bag is fine. I have quit asking, but GM's concern for safety is the reason that any future vehicle purchases will not include any GM products.
this visit was awesome compared to the first time. We dropped it off at 7:30, and they not only changed the oil, they rotated tires and cleaned it inside and out. Go All American, you went beyond. And they called to let me know it was ready for pick up with in 2 1/2 hours
