I arrived at the dealer with my trade. I walked onto the show room floor and was not greeted or acknowledged for about five, maybe a little more. I walked down to the service area and saw some employees, they were busy talking, they noticed me but didn’t say anything. I walked back over to the show room floor and still nothing. I called Justin on the phone, he advised he was in back with another customer but was on his way. While dealing with Justin I had asked about law enforcement and veteran discounts. He asked me to hold for a moment and I believe he had to ask someone about it. He said they had a 500 for first responders, and I submitted the certificate. When I spoke to the finance manager about the gap insurance, oil changes and extended warranty, I asked about a veteran discount, he told me you got the first responder. He came down on the price of the gap and the warranty, but wouldn’t come down a little on the oil changes. When signing the paperwork I asked again for a possible veteran discount. I feel like I was just blown off. Finish signing the paperwork and you’ll be on your way. Justin did fine, just feel like I was blown off by the finance manager.
